Overview of Organization - AguaClara Reach is a 501(c)3 registered NY State nonprofit that trains partner organizations around the world to design and deploy sustainable, gravity-powered drinking water treatment systems.  To date, 20 AguaClara plants have been built in Central America, serving over 80,000 people, and 7 Hydrodosers have been built in India, serving 2,500 people in total.

Overview of Technology - A design principle of AguaClara technologies is that all core drinking water treatment plant processes do not require any electricity to operate.  AguaClara plants are also built using locally-available materials and utilize community labor. This empowers communities to own, operate, and sustain all aspects of the technology.  A full overview of AguaClara water treatment technologies can be found here.
