According to the World Health Organization, approximately 800 million people do not have access to basic drinking water service. At least 2 billion people use a drinking water source contaminated by feces.

AguaClara Reach defines success by the number of people benefited in the long term by AguaClara technologies. We believe that communities with reliable safe drinking water on tap will see improved health, increased school attendance, and added free time for women.
After being built with locally-sourced materials, the simple-to-operate treatment facilities are managed by community members. Each month, every household in these low-income communities is charged a reasonable water tariff to cover construction, maintenance, and operation.
